Our Programs
The Ms. Wheelchair Mississippi Foundation is committed to empowering women in wheelchairs, starting this inspiring journey at just 5 years old. Each year, we proudly crown a Little Miss Wheelchair Mississippi, Junior Miss Wheelchair Mississippi, and Ms. Wheelchair Mississippi, celebrating strength, confidence, and resilience!
The competition includes three divisions:
-
Little Miss (5-12)– encouraging our youngest advocates to dream big.
-
Junior Miss (13-20)– helping teens build confidence and develop leadership skills.
-
Ms. (21+)– providing women the platform to share their advocacy on a statewide and national stage.
The mission of Ms. Wheelchair Mississippi is clear: to empower women in wheelchairs, amplify their voices, and inspire positive change in communities.
Participants proudly call themselves the #ChairChicks—a united sisterhood that celebrates resilience, promotes inclusion, and proves that disability does not define ability.
For Contestants: Step Into Your Power
Ms. Wheelchair Mississippi is more than a competition—it is a sisterhood and a calling. Contestants gain advocacy training, leadership development, public speaking experience, and a supportive community that believes in their potential.
If you are a woman who uses a wheelchair and is ready to share your voice, tell your story, and advocate for change, this journey is for you.
You belong here. Your voice matters. Your impact is needed
